What is a Captain's Day?

Instead of dropping everything at launch, Epic is releasing Treasure Hunters in waves. Each Captain's Day adds a new crew to the Island — usually with a boss you can fight for their weapon, a themed location and fresh Sprites to collect. Epic's season announcement also teases a mysterious Map Fragment you can find while exploring, described as just one piece of something bigger, with a new Captain's Day every week to keep checking back.

1. Nov 1, 2026Captain's Day 1 — A$AP Rocky and the Straw HatsSeason launch on the new Crossbones Isle. Defeat A$AP Rocky aboard his ship for the Shock Rocket and the Lil' Flacko Sprite.
2. Nov 7, 2026Captain's Day 2 — Lil Uzi, Cuddle Team Leader and BuggyLil Uzi and Cuddle Team Leader claim a fort; Buggy and the Megalodon crash onto the Island. New weapons and Sprites, and the Cursed Sprite variant.
3. Nov 12, 2026Captain's DayListed by Epic as a Captain's Day. The Gold Sprite variant arrives, granting bonus XP from eliminations.
4. Nov 14, 2026Captain's Day 3 — Hatsune Miku and Kasane TetoMiku and Teto take over the resort with returning weapons — plus a leek you can wield.
5. Nov 21, 2026Captain's Day 4 — OscarOscar sails in with his own ship and the Frenzy Auto Shotgun.

What each Captain's Day adds

Epic hasn't detailed everything in advance, so we'll add specifics as each Captain's Day goes live.

Mastery Monday and Treasure Hours Sundays

Two recurring events run alongside the Captain's Days for the whole season:

• Mastery Monday (every Monday from 9 AM ET): 2x Sprite XP and 2x Sprite Dust all day, and Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters appear in bigger numbers across the Island. Official
• Treasure Hours Sundays (every Sunday): described as adding Captain's weapons to the start of matches and boosting drops. Exactly what gets boosted hasn't been spelled out. Reported

Do Captain's Days help you find the Pirate Shop Token?

There's no evidence that Captain's Days change the token's drop rate. What they can change is how many chests you open:

• Mondays mean more chests. Extra Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters (which lead to buried Sprite Chests) are extra rolls.
• Sundays might boost drops. Nobody has shown whether Treasure Hours affect Treasure Hunt prizes or the token itself. Not confirmed
• New Sprites can speed you up. Chest-finding and chest-boosting Sprites help you open more chests per match.
• Busy days are crowded. Captain's Days bring players back, so popular landing spots get hotter. Quieter loot routes can be better for chest counts.

Captain's Days and your Pirate Shop window

If you've found the token, Captain's Days matter for a different reason: collab arrivals on the Island often line up with new outfits in the Item Shop — though Epic hasn't confirmed shop dates for these. If you're waiting for Miku and Teto or Oscar, keep an eye on the shop around November 14 and 21, and check the best time to activate your Pirate Shop planner before you press the button.
