Quick answer

There is no Pirate Token tracker that can locate the token — it isn't placed on the map, it's a random roll when a chest opens. What you can track is how many chests you've opened and what that means for your odds. Use the counter above while you play: it saves in your browser and turns your chest count into a live chance, assuming the community estimate of 1 in 700,000 per chest.

How to see how many chests you've opened in Fortnite

  1. Open the Quests tab in the lobby
Players report that a chest-opening quest shows your running count for the season.
  2. Find the chest quest
Look for the quest that tracks opened chests. The number next to it is your total.
  3. Enter it above
Open "Set your count manually", type the number and press Save. Then keep tapping +1 as you play.

Is there a Pirate Token finder or locator?

No. Searches for a "pirate token finder", "locator" or "scanner" are common, but nothing can show where the token is, because it doesn't exist anywhere until a chest rolls it. Any app, site or video claiming to find or reveal it is fake — and the ones asking for your Epic login are trying to steal your account.

The closest thing to a finder is a chest finder: the Fortune Sprite reveals nearby chests, which helps you open more of them per match. Official

If you play in a full squad and your teammates open about as many chests as you, multiply your count by four — the tracker does this when you pick "Squads".

Tracking as a squad

Because the reward goes to the whole party, what matters is the party's total. The simplest way: everyone keeps their own count and you add them up, or one person tracks and picks the party size. Remember to stay in the match after you're eliminated — players report you still get the token if a teammate finds it, as long as you haven't left.

Why track at all?

  • Perspective. Seeing that 99.9% of players at your count still haven't found it makes a long drought feel normal, not unlucky.
  • Pacing. Watching your daily count is a good reminder to take breaks — the odds don't improve because you're tired.
  • Bragging rights. If you do find it, you'll know exactly how many chests it took.

FAQ

Is there a Pirate Token tracker?

There's no tracker that can locate the token, because it is a random chest roll. This page is a chest tracker: it counts the chests you open and shows your live odds.

Is there a Pirate Token finder or scanner?

No. Nothing can reveal or locate the token. Apps or sites that claim to are fake, and the ones asking for your Epic login are account-theft scams.

Where can I see how many chests I opened in Fortnite?

Players report that a chest quest in the lobby's Quests tab shows your running count. You can type that number into the tracker.

Does the tracker save my count?

Yes, in this browser on this device. Clearing site data or using a private window will reset it.

Does opening more chests make the next one more likely to drop the token?

No. Every chest is an independent roll. More chests raise your overall chance only because you get more rolls.
